“And Jesus answered saying to them, ‘Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be takin up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will our Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.’” Mark 11:22-26 NASB

This passage does not tell us to pray. It tells us to pray and believe. So, the moment you ask and believe, stand on it. In verses 25 and 26, it tells us to forgive. Faith does not work in an unforgiving heart. You cannot say that you are a person of faith if you are only praying and not believing, and you cannot waver in this. You also cannot be a person of faith if you hold unforgiveness. You have to ask yourself when things don’t seem to be working, what am I hearing? Am I praying and believing? Do I hold unforgiveness? Look at Ephesians 5,

“So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:17 NASB

Have you ever heard people who suddenly get sick, and they pray, “Lord, if it is your will, please heal me”? Well, you are automatically operating in doubt. This isn’t standing in faith. You don’t build your faith to fight cancer when you are in the middle of it; you do it long before it comes. You need to know what God’s will is. If you believe the Bible is real, then how do you avoid doubt? By knowing God’s will. We, as believers, have a unique advantage, we can read the Bible and understand what God’s will is about everything. Then, we can do what the Bible says, which is to go to Him and put Him in remembrance of His Word. If you need a financial miracle, then go to God and say, “Ok, I need a miracle, and here are all the scriptures on finances.” The same goes for healing, relationships, or whatever it may be. Pray God’s Word. Many people do not pray God’s will. It is fool-hearted to pray things that God’s Word already says He isn’t in agreement with. That is why I don’t pray for someone who comes to me with an unspoken prayer request. Because I can’t agree with them in prayer and believe with them if I don’t know what it is about and it’s not even Biblical! Nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about praying for an unspoken request. It sounds spiritual, but I don’t care about sounding spiritual. Don’t be foolish, know God’s will.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7 NASB

This is Jesus speaking, saying His word is His will. How many people have you heard say that if you ask whatever you want, it will be done? No, that isn’t what it says, it means if you are abiding in Jesus and His word is in you, then you are asking things that match up with what His will is. Faith begins where the will of God is known. Brother Hagin used to preach that all the time. You cannot begin to have faith until you know the will of God. When you understand what God’s will is about finances, healing, your marriage, whatever it is, it is then that you can have the faith for it. Faith begins where the will of God is known.

God declares His Word. No one has to cosign His Word. No one has to stand and perform God’s Word; that is God’s job. God’s Word is God’s Word, His bond, His covenant. His people must stand up in this day and this age and quit making excuses but start making withdrawals on His Word.

“Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, ‘This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?’ But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, ‘This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.’ And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, ‘Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason, they will be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Therefore, I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. Either make the tree good and its fruit good or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.’” Matthew 12:22-37 NASB

That is a lot of scripture, so lets put it into context. Jesus is casting out demons and healing people, and they are saying it is of the devil. He looks at them and is saying you, idiots, Satan wouldn’t be casting out his kingdom, he would be fighting me. Then He goes right into saying if you speak evil about Him, there is forgiveness, but don’t you dare start speaking evil about the Holy Spirit, and he starts talking about the unpardonable sin. The unpardonable sin is when you have hardened your heart so hard against God that you don’t believe He will forgive you, and you won’t ask for forgiveness. People who get to that point it started by speaking against the Holy Spirit. I know a Pastor’s wife who was talking to her dad, and she took my advice, and she said to her dad, can you and I agree that God’s Word is 100% accurate and if you and I believe anything else we are wrong? He answered, yes. So, she started talking about works of the Holy Spirit, healing, prosperity, tongues, all of that, and he said, I don’t believe that. She was brought up in a church that preached tongues was for the apostles, but today it is of the devil. When that starts to happen, and people say they don’t believe it or that the work of the Holy Spirit is of the devil, Jesus just warned here that you are heading towards blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, which is unforgivable. It is the hardening of your heart. If you reach this point, you have so demoted God, spoken against Him so much that even you don’t comprehend or believe God’s pure ability to do what He says He will do and because you have removed the Holy Spirit from your life because you have said His works are of the devil, He removes Himself from you, and you harden your heart.
